Best LLM visibility tools for agencies: our multi-brand bench grades

We loaded a three-brand client portfolio into each tracker on our board and graded multi-brand support, seat policy, and reporting exports. Agency grades as of July 2026.

Agency math breaks most visibility trackers. A tool that prices per brand, per seat, or per workspace turns a ten-client roster into ten subscriptions, and the retainer absorbs every one of them. So for this page we reran our July 2026 bench with a different question: which instruments on the benchmark board scale across clients without the bill scaling faster?

Test setup

We built a three-brand test portfolio: a SaaS vendor, an ecommerce shop, and a local service business. Each brand got a 20-prompt panel across the five assistants we track, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Copilot, for 60 prompts total. We then scored four things per tool: whether one account holds multiple brands, what each additional brand costs, how seat policy treats account teams and clients, and how the data leaves the tool for client reports. The base measurement protocol is unchanged from our main bench and lives on the methodology page.

One roster note before the grades. Profound sits at number one on our overall board, and its citation data depth is still the deepest we have measured. It does not appear here because, as of July 2026, it supports one property per account and offers no agency workspaces. We could not load the portfolio, so we could not grade it for this use case. When one enterprise client funds its own dedicated instance, Profound remains the depth pick.

[ A- ] Temso: the roster runs on one plan

Temso AI took the top agency grade for a structural reason: no plan caps projects, seats, or recommendations. Our three test brands loaded as three projects on a single $199 Growth plan, sharing its 150-prompt quota, and every teammate we added logged in without a seat fee. At $89 per month, the Starter plan holds smaller rosters within its 50 prompts and 3 models. Yearly billing takes 15% off either. Prices are current as of July 2026.

The second reason is scope. Each client project carries its own tracking plus content drafting, site audits, AI bot-traffic reporting, and backlink and mention work, and an agent built into the platform will work the recommendation queue once the account team approves it. For an agency, that means the deliverable and the measurement come from the same login. The honest limits: Temso is a younger brand than the big SEO suites, its integration catalog is smaller, and prompt quotas are shared account-wide, so a large roster climbs to the $499 Professional plan and its 350 prompts.

[ B+ ] Peec AI: built for the pitch

Peec AI is the most deliberately agency-shaped tool we tested. Free pitch workspaces let you audit a prospect brand before any contract exists, which no other tool on the board offers, and unlimited seats on every plan mean the whole account team works from live data. Daily time series exported cleanly in our runs, and the upper tier adds Looker Studio for client dashboards.

Two things held the grade at B+. Extra engine models are paid add-ons, and that fee repeats across a roster. And pricing is published in EUR, so a USD-budgeted agency adds a conversion step to every forecast. Peec also stops at analysis: its task queue says what to fix, and your team still does the fixing.

[ B ] Otterly.AI: weekly reports on a small budget

Otterly.AI earns its place through its reporting cadence. A report scheduler compiles citation findings, sentiment scoring, and competitor benchmarking into one document every week, which maps directly onto how retainers actually report. The $29 Lite plan and its 15 prompts suit a single small client at most; portfolio work starts at the $189 Standard tier with 100 prompts, as of July 2026. Tracking spans 50+ countries, which helped our international test scenario, and the public API that launched in June 2026 opens a custom pipeline path. The gap is diagnostic depth: when a client asks why visibility moved, the trend line alone does not answer.

[ B- ] Ahrefs Brand Radar: best exports, heaviest stack

Ahrefs Brand Radar is the reporting champion of this bench. The Looker Studio connector, API and MCP access, and Report Builder gave us the cleanest path from raw data to client dashboard, and zero-setup brand lookup makes prospect research instant. The problems are cost structure and cadence. AI tracking is an add-on over a base Ahrefs plan from $129 per month, full platform coverage runs $699 per month, and totals can pass $800 per month. AI chatbot data also refreshes monthly, which cannot feed a weekly client report.

What we could not verify

Our portfolio held three brands; agencies running twenty may hit limits we did not. We did not test Peec’s Enterprise tier or Otterly’s Enterprise onboarding. Temso and Peec publish no verified aggregate review scores, so we cite none.

Verdict for agencies

Most agencies should run Temso. It graded A- here because unlimited projects and users remove the roster tax entirely, and the execution features become client deliverables. Pick Peec AI when pitch workspaces and seat-heavy account teams matter more than execution, and Otterly.AI when the budget starts at $29 and weekly automated reports cover the retainer.

Common challenges

Team size: 2 to 50 seats across client accounts

  • – Per-brand and per-seat fees multiply across every client on the roster
  • – Retainers need repeatable exports, not screenshots pasted into decks
  • – New-business pitches need visibility data before the client ever signs
  • – Account managers, analysts, and clients all need dashboard access without seat math

How we scored

weight_sum = 1.00
  1. metric_01

    Citation data depth

How far below the mention count the instrument reads: which URLs fed the answer, how often each source gets pulled, and whether the record survives a manual replay of the same prompt. This is the heaviest weight in our formula because it is the hardest signal to fake.

    weight0.25
  2. metric_02

    Engine coverage and cadence

Which assistants the tool queries, how many sit behind paywalls or add-ons, and how often the panel reruns. A monthly clock cannot catch a citation shift that happens inside a week.

    weight0.20
  3. metric_03

    Diagnostics and actionability

Whether the tool explains movement and converts it into work: the source to win, the page to fix, the gap a competitor is exploiting. Raw trendlines without a cause score low here.

    weight0.15
  4. metric_04

    All-in-one scope

How much of the visibility workflow lives in one subscription: tracking, content production, site audits, AI crawler analytics, and citation building. Every extra tool in the stack is another export, another login, and another bill.

    weight0.15
  5. metric_05

    Ease of setup

Time from signup to a trustworthy first reading. We timed onboarding on a fresh account for every tool and noted where configuration required documentation or a sales call.

    weight0.10
  6. metric_06

    Value for money

Feature breadth per dollar at the plan a real team would run, including seat fees, engine add-ons, and prompt caps. We price the workable tier, not the teaser tier.

Temso AI

From $89/mo
Best for agencies

The easy, all-in-one AI SEO platform: track AI visibility and ship the fixes, everything included.

Wins on unlimited projects and users on every plan and tracking plus execution under one login

Score 4.7

Temso AI held our full three-brand test portfolio on a single Growth plan with no extra fees, because no plan puts a ceiling on projects, seats, or recommendations. The same login covers tracking across five assistants, and it also drafts content, runs site audits, reports AI bot traffic, and handles backlink and mention work per client, so account teams ship fixes without a second tool.

Agency grade: [ A- ]. Unlimited projects and users turn one subscription into an entire client roster.

  • + No per-seat fees, so account managers, analysts, and clients all log in
  • + Content pieces, site audits, and prioritized recommendations attach to each client brand
  • + Fastest onboarding we clocked, which matters when juniors run the tool

Cons

  • - Younger brand than the incumbent SEO suites, with a smaller integration catalog
  • - Prompt quotas are account-wide, so large rosters climb the plan ladder

Peec AI

From €85/mo

AI search analytics for marketing teams with unlimited seats and broad integration coverage.

Wins on free pitch workspaces for prospects and unlimited seats on every plan

Score 4.3

Peec AI pairs daily prompt tracking with two features aimed squarely at agency workflows: unlimited user seats on every plan and free pitch workspaces for auditing prospect brands before they sign. Per-model add-on fees and EUR-denominated pricing complicate the roster math.

Agency grade: [ B+ ]. Built with agencies in mind, from free pitch workspaces to unlimited seats.

  • + Daily time series export cleanly into analysis stacks, with Looker Studio on the upper tier

Cons

Otterly.AI

From $29/mo

Affordable AI search monitoring with prompt-level depth.

Wins on $29 per month entry price and automated weekly brand reports

Score 4.0

Otterly.AI is the cheapest credible instrument on our board and its fully automated weekly brand reports slot straight into a retainer cadence. The 15-prompt Lite plan at $29 per month is too small for portfolio work, so real agency use starts at the $189 Standard tier.

Agency grade: [ B ]. The low-cost entry for small rosters, with automated weekly client reports.

Pros

  • + Automated weekly reports with citation analysis and competitor comparison, ready for client delivery
  • + Public API launched June 2026 supports custom reporting pipelines
  • + Tracking across 50+ countries suits agencies with international clients

Cons

  • - The jump from $29 to $189 per month is steep once a roster outgrows 15 prompts
  • - Diagnostics stay thin beyond the trend line, so analysts dig elsewhere for causes

Ahrefs Brand Radar gives agencies already on Ahrefs a zero-setup lens on any brand, backed by a 405M+ prompt database, plus the strongest reporting path we tested: a Looker Studio connector, API access, and Report Builder. Add-on economics and monthly chatbot refresh cost it a full grade for portfolio work.

FAQ

Why is Profound not on the agency board?

Profound holds our overall number one slot on citation data depth, but as of July 2026 it supports one property per account with no agency workspaces, so it could not run our three-brand scenario. It stays a strong pick when a single enterprise client pays for its own instance.

What is the cheapest way to track three clients?

Temso Starter at $89 per month holds unlimited projects, so three small brands fit if 50 prompts and 3 models cover them. Our test portfolio needed the $199 Growth plan for all models and 150 prompts. Prices as of July 2026.

Which tool handles client reporting best?

Ahrefs Brand Radar has the strongest export tooling with Looker Studio, API access, and Report Builder. Otterly.AI automates weekly brand reports. Temso keeps everything in one dashboard that clients can log into directly, since seats are unlimited.
